My wife, her sister, brother-in-law, and I were sitting having a light lunch at this little place with one of the best views of Pattaya, Thailand. I was looking around, enjoying just being there, looking at the view, and then I noticed something I have seen too many times. Do you see any problems in this picture?

A year ago, I had no idea what 2018 really had in store for me. Boy, it had plans that I couldn’t possibly have foreseen. I knew my marriage was not doing well, and it progressed to me moving out in the early Spring, followed up by a divorce as soon as possible. It was quick and painless, mostly.
But, what I didn’t see coming was everything else.

I recently watched a video about traveling to Thailand. Click here to see the video. In it, he talks about getting your house in order. And he doesn’t mean paying your bills and making sure the door is locked. He is talking about having your head straight. I occasionally experienced people who were not ready for travel when I was a tour manager.

I have traveled in every state in the US, except Hawaii, almost all of the provinces and territories of Canada, been to China, and Thailand. But, where is my favorite place to go? How can I possibly pick one out of all of those places!?!
I love to explore everywhere I go. I enjoy finding the weird, the strange, the odd wherever I go. The odder the better. Seeing those sites like “The largest ball of Twine”, or “tallest Paul Bunyan Sculpture” is fun to me. Places where most people don’t go see because they think it is stupid, or insignificant.
